A Toshl alternative
that counts your investments too.
Toshl is great for logging spending in any currency. But your stocks are left out, and crypto is just another currency on an account. Moneydy adds spending, budgets, savings, stocks and crypto up to one net worth, shows your balance for the weeks ahead and gets your gains ready for the Portuguese tax return.

Toshl and Moneydy, side by side.
They cost about the same. The difference is in what each one does.
Toshl prices and features from toshl.com, September 2026; prices are in US dollars and may show in another currency on the App Store or Google Play. Toshl is a trademark of Toshl Inc.; Moneydy is not affiliated with it.
Which one fits you.
If most of the left column is you, stay with Toshl. Honestly.
You live in many currencies
You travel a lot or hold money in currencies Moneydy doesn't cover, you want weekly or trip budgets, you want transactions to arrive from your bank on their own, or you want a native phone app.
You invest too
You hold stocks, ETFs or crypto and want them next to your spending and savings, in one net worth. You would rather not hand an app your bank login, and you want to know what your account will hold in the weeks ahead.
An IRS report comes with it
Moneydy matches every stock and crypto sale to its purchases, first in first out, and sorts the result by the annex of the Portuguese return. Free on every plan.
Switching takes an evening.
No need to export anything from Toshl: your bank statements hold the same history.

Frequently asked questions.
Is Moneydy cheaper than Toshl?
They cost about the same. Moneydy Premium is €2.99 a month or €19.99 a year, the same figures as Toshl Pro in dollars. The difference is in what each one does, not the price.
What does Moneydy's free plan include?
Up to 30 transactions a month, 2 accounts, 12 monthly budgets, 3 category budgets, 3 recurring bills and 3 investments, with no time limit. Importing statements is a Premium feature, and every new account gets 14 days of Premium without a credit card.
Does Moneydy connect to my bank?
No, on purpose. You export your statement from your bank as CSV or Excel and import it: your rules pick the categories and you review every line before it is saved. If you want transactions to arrive on their own, Toshl Medici connects to banks.
Does Moneydy support as many currencies as Toshl?
No. Moneydy works in euros, US dollars and Brazilian reais, each account in its own currency and totals converted with the European Central Bank's rates. If you handle money in many currencies or travel a lot, Toshl covers far more.
Can I try it before I sign up?
Yes. The demo opens an account already filled with sample data, a stock and crypto portfolio included, with no sign-up. It is deleted after 24 hours.
